You know your packages would arrive on time if the Porsche RS Spyder was a delivery truck...

I took this one, featuring Aussie Ryan Briscoe, on the inside of the Carousel at Road America.

It was so wonderful to shoot at such a picturesque circuit. Plenty more angles to come, from both ALMS and Champ Car action.

Yeah, that is one damn clear photograph. Absolutely stunning quality, no problem picking up the car even at that speed.

This was at Elkhart Lake, right? Love that circuit, so many good turns and long straights.

Thanks very much. Yeah, that is certainly one picturesque circuit. It's gone straight onto the ';podium' of my favourite tracks around the world (of those that I've been trackside, that is)...

Yeah, I agree. I was going to say it is like the Circuit de La Sarthe of the United States, but that may be a bit of an overstatement. It's more like the Spa-Francorchamps of the U.S.

That's probably not an unjust assessment. Could also throw Donington into the mix, purely for the mix of fast and slow together with massive elevation change. Road America's far more scenic though with all its greenery. For a local comparison, I can only think of Phillip Island or Bathurst, and the latter is a 'normal' road, even if racing was high on its agenda from the word go...

That it is. Mind you, they were somewhat assisted by the weather gods last weekend...

true, but there were some races where weather wasn't a factor either, like Mid-Ohio, Lime Rock, and Utah. i never thought i'd see audi not win overall, until this season

If you listen to what the team says, it's down to the restrictions they've been slugged. Also, Road America is a faster track than the others and, until the rain came, they were streets ahead of the competition...
