We now return to the last weekend of August 2008, and Day Two of my second shoot with Ellena (aka My Favourite Subject) in and around Melbourne.

For this part of the series, we head to the gym for some workout and posing images.

Would you mind if I decided to use this pose as reference for my artwork?

Because really, her expression, the pose and her muscle tones are all amazing. And the overall photo provides some inspiration.

Thanks Jorge! Selective colouring is far easier to edit with cars than it is with people. This turned out quite well though.

As far as Ellena being my favourite subject, there's no contest. Cars are way off the pace...
