I felt like taking some photos this evening, so I went out and did just that. This is a 'reconstruction' of another deviation in my Gallery, Lights of Vegas, which was shot some four years ago. Okay, so it's a little different, but I wanted to give an idea of how things have changed in those years.
And, in a quick glance myself, it's substantial. The skyline seems to get higher with each passing year, and that is certainly true here. And there's more to come. Quite how or where I do not know...
As far as the technical aspects of this are concerned, I went for a wide open aperture to highlight the colours and especially the reflections. I'd like to do a really long exposure (bulb) but that would require a remote release. I'll get one some day...
Thanks very much! Even after all this time, I still like this one. I decided to overexpose it for the sole purpose of getting brilliant reflections. I think it worked...
i loved how the lights reflect on the water, almost like a rainbow...
the buildings are also very beautiful, but the water and those boats there seem so peaceful....
loved this one!!! great shot!
