Very fast food at that. Sebastien Bourdais in a hurry during the weekend's first Champ Car qualifying session, in which he set the pace - just for a change...

Actually, the big news today is that Bourdais has finally made it into F1, with the confirmation overnight that he's to debut on the Grand Prix grid in 2008 with Toro Rosso. It's well beyond time but it's nice he does get his shot in the big league...

great capture ..
i love bourdais ,love The Newmanhaas team and of course the spectacular Elkhart lake >/ raod america circuit ..great great great !

and hell yes ..champcar is(was) popular in germany ,too !

Thanks Fabian! Yeah, I absolutely fell in love with Road America. It has so many great photographic vantage points, and to have Champ Car and ALMS together was heaven. So sad that CCWS is no longer - and now IndyCar isn't even coming back to the Gold Coast, which is terrible for us Aussies...
