Charging Through

One of the least enjoyable days trackside I've ever experienced came on Saturday at Eastern Creek. There was even talk of the meeting being cancelled; not what you want when it's being held on a long weekend.

Only a few hundred brave souls ventured out to the track, and those who did were forced to wait until mid-afternoon for any on-track action. Thankfully the V8 Utes made the wait (partly) worthwhile, with a thrilling first race, which featured Layton Cranbrook charging through from 16th on the grid to take the win.
